Parent Handbook

This handbook contains a summary of our policies and procedures as they apply to the families we serve.  By registering your child with us you are agreeing to be bound by the policies and procedures outlined in this handbook.  You are responsible for ensuring any additional family members or friends who support you in dropping off or picking up your child understands these expectations.  You are responsible for their conduct. 


We understand that some of the policies and procedures outlined in this handbook might not work for every family.  If you find that you are not able to agree to our policies and procedures we are glad to help direct you to an option that might be a better fit for your family’s needs.   


Little Learning House retains the right to revise these policies as necessary.  Changes will be posted on the L.L.H. website in the “For Parents” section and a hard copy will be available in the centre upon request.  It remains the parents responsibility to look for notice of changes and review them as they occur.  Your agreement continues until written notice of withdrawal from the program is provided to the child care centre supervisor. 


Our centres have emergency management policies and procedures in place to safely and efficiently manage emergency situations which might occur at or near the child care centres.  In case of such emergency parents will be notified via facebook, website and telephone.  Please make sure you follow our facebook page and that we always have the most up to date contact information for you.
